Colorful Door is a Vienna-based music and poetry project exploring the intersection of songwriting, spoken word, and contemporary sound design through intimate audiovisual performances.
At the core of the project are powerful, evocative poetic texts — delivered somewhere between speech, whisper, and song — surrounded by fluid sonic environments shaped through electronic production, generative textures, and hybrid studio processes.
The project evolves around the idea of:
human songwriter inside an intelligent sound system
AI and digital tools are not used as a replacement for authorship, but as extensions of atmosphere, rhythm, and emotional resonance. The focus remains on the human voice, presence, and language.
Stylistically, the project moves between:
spoken word performance,
experimental songwriting,
ambient electronics,
post-digital poetics,
and minimalist audiovisual expression.
Rather than following a conventional concert format, the work creates a space closer to sonic poetry: fragmented vocal layers, shifting ambient structures, and organic electronic textures forming an atmosphere between intimate confession and contemporary performance art.
Based in Vienna, the project belongs to a new generation of hybrid artistic practices dissolving the boundaries between music, poetry, and digital art.
Founded and envisioned by Ramo Kurtovic, a creator based in Vienna, Austria, and a member of the trip hop / electro rock duo
DULDU,
Colorful Door emerged from a deeply personal impulse — the need to give form to what often remains unseen and unspoken. Through this vision, the project becomes not only an artistic expression but a living dialogue between inner worlds and shared experience.
