DULDU’s sound is defined by a distinctive blend of Trip Hop atmosphere and blues influence. Their music moves through slow-burning rhythms, shadowy textures, and warm, organic melodies that echo the emotional weight of blues — yet framed within a modern, experimental Trip Hop aesthetic. This fusion gives their tracks a unique intimacy, depth, and cinematic feel.

The origins and evolution of DULDU

DULDU consists of aRamo Kurtović and Edd Wood, a Vienna-based duo active across the city’s underground and indie landscape. The concept of the project emerged from Edd Wood’s collaboration with Colorful Door, founded by Ramo Kurtović. From this creative partnership, the DULDU identity took shape — merging experimental electronic elements with Trip Hop grooves and blues-inspired emotional storytelling.Over the years, DULDU has collaborated with several artists, including Vienna-based visual and performance artist Minna, as well as Emma Gentili, a long-term collaborator and the band’s accompanying vocalist whose presence has become an essential part of their sonic signature.
